I have been kind of silent on this, my personal blog for a while. Not just because of a busy schedule, but, I struggle with what to write about. I have never considered myself a great Christian with an abundance of spiritual wisdom to share with the masses. :) I am thankful for God's blessings and opportunities to see His hand in our family and ministry but sometimes I think the devil wants to discourage us from sharing those testimonies in order to prevent them from encouraging others. Sometimes it is little things that happen which, mean a lot to us but, we may wonder if it really is "important enough" to be shared on a blog. So, while I work on writing about some of the posts I truly believe the Lord has impressed upon me to share, I have a question for you.
What would you like to ask about our field, family, etc. if you could?
Will you please let me know in the comments (they are private until I "publish" them so I read them first) what YOU would like to read about on my personal blog? I am not trying to take the lazy route, I really want to hear from you because sometimes we get so used to life on the foreign field that we don't realize it is interesting to others to even know how we celebrate birthdays or what we can do for fun as a family. So, please, take a minute and leave me a question in the comments. I look forward to hearing from you!

Funny you should mention about writing about something that is "important enough." Our family was just talking about what we enjoy in a missionary letter, and Steve recently wrote about that topic at edifyhub.com.
Although what you include in a letter and in a blog can be very different, we do enjoy hearing about cultural things, a day in the life of your kids, your VBS prep and activities, your church services and who came and how we can pray for them, and those day to day things that may not seem "important enough" to you.
Well, I know I didn't really ask a specific question, but I did want to encourage you to let others know about those things that to you may not seem "important enough." Those are often the very things that help us know more about you and how to pray for you - That's how we get to know our missionaries and learn how to pray specifically for them.
Thanks for your service.
Keeping you in my prayers!
